We attend the site and work through the setup against the approved documents and AGTTM under live conditions. Where the works run after dark, we audit the night setup too, because lighting, delineation and sign legibility behave differently.

How is a compliance audit different from a road safety audit?
A road safety audit asks whether a road or design is safe; a compliance audit asks whether the setup on the ground matches what was approved. We do both.
When do we need one?
There's no blanket rule, but they're increasingly required by permit conditions, client specs and principal-contractor procedures, especially on DTP roads and after a near-miss.
How fast is the report?
Usually a few business days. Critical, life-safety issues we flag on site immediately rather than waiting for the report.
How much does a compliance audit cost?
It depends on the number of sites, whether we're inspecting day and night setups, and whether it's a one-off inspection or an ongoing program across a package of works. Travel to regional sites is factored in too. Give us the site details and we'll quote it as a fixed fee.
How often should a worksite be audited?
There's no statutory frequency. In practice: at initial establishment, after each significant change to the layout or stage, and periodically on long-running sites, with night checks where the works run after dark. Permit conditions or the principal contractor's procedures sometimes set a minimum, so we align the program with those.
